Eyrefeldlodge 050
Freddy created this for Marten Toonder, his mentor and friend, in 1986 when Marten retired and moved to Eyrefeldlodge in Ireland where he lived for most of the rest of his life. Although the picture is not specifically Eyrefeldlodge, it is a representation of a journey into the future based on a train station in Ireland. Also the poem he wrote for Marten Toonder is embedded in the painting.
Your Freddy Julsing piece will be produced using the Giclée Print process, an archival fine art print, preserving the piece for years. Archival Giclées are accepted without reservation by most of the world's art museums, galleries and private collectors. For more information, read our detailed page about The Giclée Print.
